and its done!

my completed French Market Bag! I'm really in love with how it came out. so much that I've already started a second smaller bag in black. I felt like a little kid while it was felting in the washing machine, I couldn't wait to see how it looked.

French Market Bag

here's an updated picture of the French Market Bag, I'm about halfway done with the base of it. I can't do much more until my longer DPN's come in. I must say I'm anxious to finish it and use this to carry my knitting projects in.

a new project

I finished 4 knitting projects in the last 5 days. My second pair of socks, a purse (just need to line it with regular fabric), a scarf, and a headband thingy. I wanted to clear all my needles so I could focus on the afghan in the previous post which is crocheted. I did start a new knitting project. The French Market bag, which will be made in Paton Classic Merino Wool: Harvest. The pattern calls for two different colored yarns, but I'll be using just one.
